3. Daniel Elmore HEWIT. Born on 23 May 1816 in Stafford, Connecticut. Daniel Elmore died in Conneaut, Pennsylvania on 11 Dec 1870, he was 54.

On 6 Sep 1838 when Daniel Elmore was 22, he married Julia Ann BROOKS, daughter of Benjamin BROOKS & Sally REYNOLDS, in Jacksonville, Pennsylvania. Born on 17 May 1821 in Erie County, Pennsylvania.

They had the following children:

ii. Wilber Fisk. Born on 15 Feb 1844 in Keepville, Erie County, Pennsylvania.
